Linda Mitchell

Linda Joyce Mitchell, 72, went home to be with her Lord, Tuesday, October 12, 2021, in Bridgeport. She was born January 26, 1949, in Nocona to Alvin Jennings and Joyce Faye (Hurley) Mitchell. They both preceded her in death. Linda grew up in Fort Worth and was a long-time resident of the Chico area.
Linda graduated from Eastern Hills High School in Ft. Worth. During her years there she was active in volleyball and basketball. She was a lover of animals, crafting and children. Although she and her husband, Bill Bowles, never had children of their own they had many children of friends that they poured their lives into.
Her love for people, lead her to work as a beautician, property manager and various fast-food restaurants. She was a faithful homemaker and mother to their many dogs and a donkey.
Linda is survived by her husband, Bill Bowles; siblings, Michael L. Mitchell, Sr., Thomas (Laura) Mitchell and Kenny (Tommi) Mitchell, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
