Eugene Mitchell, a rancher and resident of Paradise, Texas, passed away December 1st at the age of 73.
Eugene was born in Fort Worth, Texas to Connie Lee and Hazle May (Dockery) Mitchell. Both preceded in death along with his sister, Brenda, brother Sonny, and daughter Sherry and son Jesse. Eugene enjoyed his farm, playing poker, fishing, and most importantly his grandchildren. He was a leader and hero to his family. Eugene is survived by his wife of 56 years, Mary Sue (Campbell) Mitchell, his children Kathy Mitchell and Mary Ann Billue Hill, grandchildren, Shyla Clingman, Cassey Mitchell, Renia Black, Haylee Reynolds, and Jake Hill, great grandchildren, Emery Pena, Aiden Clingman, Paisleigh Wilson, Amelia Clingman, Wrenlee Wilson, Marshall Black and Rose Reynolds and neighbors Jerry Hill and Tommy Potter.
