Doris Ellen (Boyd) Miller, 83, beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed into the presence of her Lord and Savior on Sunday, Dec. 6, 2015. She will be interred with her beloved husband, John R. Miller, at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery in Grand Prairie. Doris was born on Jan. 9, 1932, in Kingfisher, Oklahoma, to Elmer Samuel Boyd and Crystal Loretta Perry Boyd. A longtime resident of Kingfisher, she moved to Springtown in 2005 with her husband John. Doris was a devoted Chris-tian and an active member at First Baptist Church in Springtown, where she taught an Adult Ladies Bible study class among other ministries. She taught children’s Sunday School classes for over 40 years in churches in Oklahoma, Kansas, and Florida. For many years she sang in the choir. Doris was also an active member in the Texas Education Extension Club of Springtown. All who knew her will miss her smile and her sweet gentle nature, but we also know that we shall she her again in the presence of our dear Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents, twin brothers who died at birth, a brother, Dorin, and her husband, John. Survivors include daughter, Robin Cook and husband Gary, of San Antonio; son, Rev.
