Melinda Jean Shipman

Melinda Jean (West) Shipman, 63, passed away, Monday, July 6, 2026 in Fort Worth. She was born January 31, 1963 in Coffeyville, Kansas to Mendal Eugene and Henrietta (Buriss) West. They both preceded her in death. Melinda grew up in Coffeyville and love to sing gospel music. She also loved to garage sale and loved collecting coffee cups, teacups an teapots. She is survived by her husband, Jimmie D. Shipman; step-daughters, Charmin Elliott and husband, Steven and Felicia Armeigh; brother, Chris West and wife, Michelle; nieces, Allison and Alexis; nephew Cody. 

A family celebration of her life will be held at a later date by the family.
