Barbara Mcvoid

Barbara McVoid, 77, a loving and faithful wife, mother, sister and grandmother, passed away, Wednesday, October 7, 2015. Memorial Service: 10 a.m. Friday, October 9, 2015 in Alexander's Midway Chapel, Springtown. Barbara was born June 27, 1938 in Fort Worth to Charles L. and Jewel Thompson Haney. They both preceded her in death along with her brother, Charles Haney. She grew up in Springtown and graduated from Springtown High School. Barbara married James McVoid in 1958 and they were blessed with four daughters. She was a member of the Eastern Star and recieved her 50 year pin in 2014. Survivors: Husand, James McVoid; daughters, Jan McVoid, Jamie Carroll and husband, Dale, Julie McVoid and Jennifer McVoid Riggs and husband, Jarett; sister Carolyn Davis; grandchildren, Lindsay, Elizabeth, Heather, Matthew and Reegan; great grandchildren, Kyra, Parker, Kayden and Samuel all of whom will miss her dearly.
