James "Jim" Mcginty

James “Jim” Randall McGinty, passed away peacefully and went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, November 20, 2024 with his daughter Jamie and son in law Blake Mullins by his side.

Jim was born June 13, 1955 in Torrance, California to Elston and Elizabeth McGinty. He was the middle child to brothers, Rick McGinty and Rob McGinty. Jim loved to sing and traveled with The Continental Singers group after completing school.

He loved to serve in his church however he could. Whether he was home or traveling to other countries he was always eager to share God's love to whomever he could reach. He was always willing to give to anyone in need, no matter the cost. Jim was a huge Texas Rangers fan who was so happy to see them win their first World Series in 2023.

Jim is survived by his three children, Jamie Mullins (spouse Blake), Evan McGinty (spouse Angie), and Jessica Smith (spouse Tyler), his 10 grandchildren, Tyler Mullins, Katy Mullins, Dixie McGinty, Knox McGinty, Maverick McGinty, Savannah McGinty, Ella McGinty, Ryleigh Smith, River Smith and Reese Smith; his two brothers, Rob McGinty and Rick McGinty (spouse Julie), who will all remember him for his deep love for Jesus and his love for his family.
