Evelyn Mccollum

Evelyn Jeanette (Montoya) McCollum 90, passed away Saturday. February 17,2024 in Springtown. She was born October 18, 1933 in Denver Colorado to Robert Montoya and Eloise (Borquez) Montoya. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Jimmy McCollum Sr.
Evelyn retired from Valeo in 1998 where she worked in automobile assembly. She enjoyed gardening and mowing on her riding lawn mower. Evelyn loved camping and trips back home to Colorado. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother. Evelyn will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her sons, Jimmy McCollum and his wife Carolyn, Gary McCollum and his wife Eva, and Kenneth McCollum and wife Darla; daughters, Laurie McCollum, Eloise, McCollum; sisters,Anita Gonzales, Jean Aragon, Dorothy Russell, and Becky Smith along with numerous grand children and great-grandchildren,2 great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. A celebration of life for Evelyn will be held at a later date.
