Michael Maxwell

Michael Wayne Maxwell, 46, passed away, Tuesday, October 10, 2023 in Alvarado. He was born December 20, 1976 in Dallas. Michael was a 1996 graduate from Mansfield High School He was a 12 year Veteran of the United States Air Force. He served three tours in Iraq. Michael waged a battle against relentless foe of mental illness in particular the daunting presence of PTSD. His struggle serves as poignant reminder of the challenges Veterans often confront post-service. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Veterans Association of your choice. Michael is survived by his father and step-mother, Delmer Duwayne and Donna Maxwell of Alvarado, Tx.; mother, Karla Minyard of Waxahachie, Tx.; sister, Mandy Maxwell of Dadeville, Mo.; step-sister, Michelle Puliese of Maybank, Tx.; adopted sister, Diann Wynn of Benbrook, Tx.; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins.
