Kevin Ray Maxwell, 66, passed away, January 17, 2024 at home. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. He was born March 21, 1957 in Mineral Wells. His father, J.T. Maxwell preceded him in death along with two brothers, Delton and Darren Maxwell and a nephew, Cody. Kevin grew up in Mineral Wells and graduated from Milsap High School. He was a retired instructor, loved his family, yard work and having a beer. Kevin had a a sense of humor and was known to be a huge jokester. He is survived by his wife, Nancy (Perales) Maxwell; daughters, Nicole Oldham and husband, Paul and Mandy Mansell and husband, Charles; sons, Johnathon Wheaton, Stephen Wheaton and wife, Desiree and Joshua Wheaton and fiancé, Elizabeth; brother, Clifton Maxwell and wife, Nancy; grandchildren, Cheyenne, Kutter, Kiana, Elijah, Paul Jr., Dylan, Taylor, Lincoln, Phoenix, McKenzie, Zaine, Aiden, Keegen, Kasen, Jayden and Dakota; nine great grandchildren; extended family and friends, all of whom will miss him dearly.
