Donna Jean Aaron Mathis, 75, a loving wife, mom and granny, passed away, Monday, August 3,2020 at home surrounded by those that love her. She was born, September 28, 1944 in Lake Providence, Louisiana to Robert Lee and Mary (Hicks) Aaron. They both were there to welcome her home along with her son, Jackie Mathis and 12 brothers and sisters. Left to cherish fond memories are her devoted husband of 33 years, John Mathis, Sr.; children, Patty Jean Dobbs, Dorothy Mathis, Lakisha Mathis and husband John Pernell, John Mathis and wife, Kathy, John Mathis III, and wife, Shelly, Michael Aaron and wife, Michelle; brother, Sammy L. Aaron; sixteen grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.
