Rubin Massey

FORT WORTH -- Rubin Orlis Massey, a loving father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, and friend passed away Thursday, March 31, 2016 in Azle. Rubin was born April 22, 1933 in Tarrant County to Johnson and Martha Jane Hembree Massey. They both preceded him in death along with his wife, Miriam Moore Massey; and siblings, J.L. Massey, Iva Lee Eldridge, Ben Massey and Clara Frank. Rubin was raised in the Azle area and served in the Army during the Korean War. He retired from General Motors and was a Mason with the Kopperl Lodge 292. Survivors: Children, Laura (Jay) Noel, Lois (Tom) Grimes, Troy (Betty) Patterson, Becky (Steve) Long; sisters, Helen (J.D.) Warren and Pauline Allmon; grandchildren, Ashley (Justin), Clifton and Connor; great grandchildren, Tatum, Kai and Leilyn; and numerous nieces and nephews.
