Charles Massey

Charles Albert Massey, 89, passed away, Sunday, August 1, 2021 at home. He was born November 2, 1931 in Fort Worth to George Dewey and Lela (Mahon) Massey. They both preceded him in death, along with his loving wife of 33 years, Connie Massey, son, David Massey, brothers, Billy and Leon Massey and sister, Marcella Beaver. Charles loved gardening and sharing with everyone, fishing was a joy he learned from an early age, years on a deer lease and visiting with family. He was a loving husband, Dad, Brother and Pepaw. Charles is survived by his loving step-daughter and caregiver, Dee Phipps; son, Calvin Massey and his wife; step-son, Douglas Chandler and his wife; daughter, Cheryl O’Rear; sisters, Lucille and Mary; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and extended family and many friends.
