Mary Sue Mitchell

Mary Sue Mitchell, 74, of Paradise, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, July 2, 2025. Born on August 9, 1950, in Clinton, Tennessee, Mary Sue lived a quiet life that was deeply rooted in love for her family.She was married to the love of her life, Irving Eugene Mitchell for 56 years, until his passing in December 2020. Together, they built a life centered on home and family. She is now at peace in Heaven warmlying embracing those that rejoice in her arrival home, which include infant daughter Sherry Mitchell and Son Jesse Hamilton. A proud mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she is survived by her 2 daughters, Mary Ann Mitchell-Hill and Kathy Mitchell-Ust, her 5 grandchildren; Shyla Clingman, Cassey Mitchell, Renia Black, Haylee Reynolds and Jake Hill. As well as, 11 great-grandchildren, each of whom brought her immeasurable joy. Mary Sue was known for her loud laugh, her love of old movies, and a fondness for good food. She was bold, protective, traditional, hard working, a great cook and most importantly, motherly. She was wonderfully proud of her family and will be deeply missed. Forever; lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
