Mary Darlene Holmes

Life long area resident Mary Darlene Holmes passed into the arms of Jesus on July 20, 2026. Born November 29, 1938, she attended Springtown schools before marrying the love of her life, Kenneth Holmes in 1956. She was a loving and devoted mother to six sons and faithful friend to all who knew her. She was a longstanding member of Azle Christian Church, and served as director of the Azle Senior Center until she retired in 2015. Preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth, sons Kelly, Ricky, and Butch, and grandson Marshall. Left to cherish her memory are sons: David & Carol, Billy, and Jesse & Sharon Holmes, 7 granddaughters and 7 grandsons.
