William Martin

William R. Martin was called home to be with our Lord on Monday, November 2, 2015. William was born in Oklahoma on July 30, 1946. He served our country honorably in the Army Special Forces during Vietnam. After earning his Bachelors from Oklahoma State University, he settled in Texas and began a wonderful and awarding career in advertising. Known by his family and friends as Bill, he was a free spirit who loved the outdoors and the freedom of being on the open road while riding his Harley Davidson. When not on his motorcycle, he enjoyed camping, painting, tending to his beautiful yard, helping others, and spending time with his family.
Bill is preceded in death by his mother and father, Harley and Ruth Martin. He is survived by his wife, Janet Martin, daughter and son in law, Amber and Joshua Combs, sister, Barbara Sommer, stepson and wife, Todd and Jennifer Baldwin, stepdaughter and husband, Wendi and Lance Jones. Grandchildren Presley and Cash Baldwin, and Savanna and Sierra Jones as well as numerous friends.
