Keith Martin, 68, Went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, September 14, 2017.
Keith was born August 28, 1949, in Tarrant County, to Edward Gordon Martin and Mary Ruth Newsom Martin.
He attended Springtown High School, and spent his life in the Springtown and Azle areas. His many life passions included hunting, fishing, cowboy history, cattle drives, and heavy equipment. He could always find a treasure at a garage sale!
Keith dearly loved his family, and will be lovingly remembered for his hunting trips, his loud whistling at ball games, and his famous head rubs. His many grandchildren and great grandchildren will greatly miss their “Granpa” and “Papa Keith”.
He is preceded in death by his daughter, Leigh Ann Martin; his sister, Elizabeth “Beth” Martin Srader; his father, Edward Gordon Martin; and mother, Mary Ruth Newsom Martin.
Keith is survived by his lifelong companion of more than 30 years, Becky Glaze, and family of Azle; his brother, Steve Martin; brother, Charles “Skip” Martin and family of Longview; his loving niece, Melissa Milner and family of Montgomery, Alabama; closest friend for many years, Mike Ingram and family of Azle; his children; grandchildren; and many, many dear friends.
