Robert Marshall

Robert J. Marshall, 66, of Granbury, passed away, Monday, April 3, 2023 at Granbury Medical Center with his family by his side.
He was the loving husband of Cheryl (Walther) Marshall with whom he shared 27 years of marriage.
Born in New Jersey, and moving to Long Pond, PA in 1958, he was the son of Donald and Mabel (Silfies) Marshall. He made is final move to Texas with his wife in 1992.
Bob worked at various resorts and local ski areas in the Pocono’s during his younger years. He had a very successful career with Roadway, retiring after 27 years with the company. Bob loved the outdoors and was forever raking leaves. He was an avid fisherman & hunter and loved horses. Most of all, he was a wonderfully loving and caring husband, stepfather, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a step-son, Tony and his companion Ranelle of Keller, and step-daughter, Rochelle and her companion James of Benbrook; 4 sisters, Bonnie (Tony) Detzi of Lancaster, PA, Deborah (Bart) Boltz of Lewiston, NY, Donna (Dale) Knecht of Pocono Lake, PA and Lois (Robert) Monaghan of Blakeslee, PA; brother, Barry Marshall of Albrightsville, PA; 3 grandchildren, Maddison, Payton and Colton; goddaughter & niece Allyson (Jeff) Clark, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces & nephews. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Virginia Walther.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wounded Warriors or Tunnel of Towers. Two organizations that were near & dear to Bob’s heart.
