Marion Ayer Gamble, a kind and loving lady whose warmth touched the lives of all who knew her, passed away peacefully on March 23, 2026, in Fort Worth. Born on August 19, 1938, in Collins, New York, to Iris Ayer. She grew up in Buffalo, New York, and was raised by her grandparents. Mr. and Mrs. Roy J. Ayer, who preceded her in death, along with her mother, Iris Ayer, and son, Robert Kevin "Robie". Marion’s life was one filled with love, joy, and cherished memories that will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends.
Marion was a fun-loving woman who embraced life with a radiant spirit. She was not only a dear friend to many but also a devoted mother and grandmother. Her gentle nature and caring heart made her a beacon of love and comfort to those fortunate enough to walk alongside her journey.
Throughout her life, Marion found joy in a variety of hobbies and interests that reflected her vibrant personality. She loved camping, where the beauty of the natural world allowed her to connect with peace and tranquility. Trips to Winstar brought her moments of excitement and shared laughter, while dining out was always a treasured occasion that she enjoyed with family and friends alike. She had a profound affection for birds and dogs, especially her beloved dog Judy, who had been lovingly cared for by Julie during Marion's Illness. Marion loved making pumpkin bread in tin coffee cans, a tradition that she passed along to Linda.
Marion’s legacy lives on through her loving daughter, Linda Walton, and her treasured grandchildren, Jason, Ashley, and Tyler. The sparkle of her great-grandchildren—Makenzy, Haven, Jackson, Landon, Raelynn, Kayne, and Korbyn—carries forward the light she so generously shared. Alongside these dear family members, she is remembered fondly by extended family and a circle of close friends who were touched by her kindness. A special thanks to her dear friends, Kathy Wise and Jessica Castillo, for their love and care
In her passing, Marion is reunited with her mother, Iris Ayer, whose memory she cherished deeply. Though her departure leaves a space that words cannot fill, the love, laughter, and warmth Marion shared with those around her continue to inspire and comfort every heart she touched.
Marion Ayer Gamble’s life was a testament to love and kindness. Her memory will forever be a blessing to all who were graced by her presence. She will be lovingly missed, eternally remembered, and forever held close.
