Brian Lundin

Brian James Lundin, 62, of Newark, passed away, January 21, 2021 n Ft. Worth.
Due to Covid, we taking precautionary measures and are postponing his celebration of life for a later date in time.

Brian was born in Salina, Kansas to Perry Lundin and Chyrlle Blackbird on February 22, 1958. He graduated from Western Hills High School in Fort Worth. Brian married Lisa on June 22, 2012 in Decatur. He officially met her on Labor Day, 2005 and they had 16 wonderful years together. Brian worked for Lockheed Martin for 42 years in numerous positions throughout the facility.

Brian was very active and involved in practical, defense and competition-based shooting. He was an active member in IDPA (International Defensive Pistol Association) USPSA (United States Practical Shooting Association), NTXLF (North Texas Lead Farmers) CTASA (Cross Timbers Action Shooting Association) and the Fort Worth Trap and Skeet Club. Brian earned his range officer and safety officer status for the IDPA AND USPSA. He participated in IDPA and USPSA matches around the metroplex. Brian was not only an active participant, but a diligent student of these sports and strived to improve at each match.

Brian is preceded in death by his mother, Chyrlle Blackbird , son, BJ Lundin and sister, Cindy Leone.

Brian is survived by his wife, Lisa Lundin; daughter, Holly Lundin; father and step mother, Perry and Ursla Lundin; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.; family pets, Buster LeRoy and Bella Boo; and in-laws, Nicki and Fred Robbins.
