Rodney Roy Lindsey, 68, passed away, Monday, May 31, 2021 in Dallas. He was born March 27, 1953 in Midland to Johnny Robert Lindsey and Lois Jewel (Holt) Allen. They both preceded him in death along with step father, Fred Allen, brother, Lawrence Rayburn Lindsey, sisters, Elaina Reim and Jackie LaJuan Bracewell and husband, Norman. Rodney served in the US Navy during Vietnam. He was a jack of many trades and drove a truck for many years. Rodney had a great sense of humor and was a character. He was a DJ and had a radio show twice a day and was know as “Cousin Boll Weevil”. Rodney enjoyed playing the guitar, piano and was an artist in many other ways. He is survived by his children, Renee Massingill and husband, Sammy, son, Sonny Lindsey and daughter, Macey Flores and husband, Marcus; sisters, Esther Burcham and husband, Billy and Eilena Duren and husband, Gary; brother, Royce Allen and wife, Janet and Richard Lindsey and wife, Priscilla; brother-in-law, Jack Reim; best friend, Tommie Sue Guarjardo; grandchildren, Justin Fisk, John Mason Beaty, Nevaeh Lindsey, Casey Lindsey, Jett Lindsey, Ellie Flores, Nina Flores; great grandchildren, Aviah Beaty and Kayden Fisk.
