Linda Monroe, a cherished teacher’s aide and beloved member of her community, passed away on December 3, 2025, in Weatherford, Texas, at the age of 74. Born on January 15, 1951, in Fort Worth, Linda was a beacon of kindness and love throughout her life.
A proud graduate of Richland High School, Class of 1969, Linda dedicated many years to serving as a teacher’s aide, impacting countless young minds with her warm spirit and compassionate nature. She was not only a nurturing educator but also a loving wife and mother, whose devotion to her family and faith was steadfast. Her strong love for God’s true word guided her actions and relationships, touching the hearts of everyone she encountered.
She leaves behind her devoted husband, Thomas Monroe, and her beloved son, Steve Monroe. Linda’s legacy will also be carried on by her treasured nephew, Justin Henry, and his wife, Ashley, along with her great nephew, Logan, and great nieces, Mckenzie and Bella. Together, they will hold onto the cherished memories and lessons they learned from her loving spirit.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, John and Betty Henry, and her brother, Randy Henry. Their absence has left a void in her family that will be felt deeply, but the love and values she instilled will continue to resonate within them.
A memorial service to celebrate Linda’s life will be held on January 5, 2026, at 2:00 PM, at Alexander’s Midway Funeral Home in Springtown, Texas. As family and friends come together to honor her memory, they will reflect on the love and kindness she so freely shared in this world.
Linda Monroe's life was a testament to the beauty of love, kindness, and faith. She will be missed profoundly, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.
