Billy Lewis

Billy R. Lewis, 81, passed away Wednesday, September 13, 2023 in Decatur. He was born January 12, 1942 in Selmer, Tennessee to Arvie and Mary (Alexander) Lewis. Billy was preceded in death by his father, and brother, Harold Lewis. He was raised in Tennessee and graduated high school in 1960. After graduation Billy enlisted in the Navy where he served for 3 years. Later he had a career in sales and owned several small businesses. Billy enjoyed leather working, fishing, target shooting, and was a member of the Cowboy Fast Draw Club. He loved spending time with his family and friends. Billy is survived by his wife of 49 years Jane Lewis; mother, Mary Ruth Lewis; sister,Sandy Lewis; son, Chris Lewis; daughter, Tiffany Davis; grandchildren, Brianna, Brandon, Ty, Haley, Kasyn, and Remi; great-grandchildren; Ashleigh, and Jace. He will be dearly missed by all who knew
