Jean Laskovich

Jean Barbara Halfpenny Laskovich, 90, a loving mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother was called to heaven to be with the Lord, Monday, October 25, 2021 in Springtown.

Jean entered this world in Berwyn, Illinois on December 27, 1930. She is preceded in death by her husband, Emil Laskovich, parents, John William Halfpenny and Evelyn Martha Biggs Halfpenny, brother, John William Halfpenny, grandson, Adam Childers and daughter-in-law, Janet Steele Hoskins Ray.

Jean loved to sew and make quilts, traveling and playing cards. She especially loved her garden, but her favorite pastime was spending time with family. She didn’t believe in strangers, just someone she has not met yet.

She is survived by her children, Barbara Jean Mueller and husband, Wilbert, Ralph James Ray, Jr., Wayne Ray and Kathleen Elaine Beshears and husband, David; sister, Darlene Wilson and husband, Bill; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and extended family.
