Lavina “Emmadean” Nichols Lambert, 71, our sweet, precious mother, went home with the angels, Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at home surrounded by her husband, daughters and family. Emmadean was born August 21, 1948 in Kinder, Louisiana to Daniel Webster and Sina Lucille (Hamilton) Nichols. They both preceded her in death along with her brothers, Winston, Wallace, Warren and Harold Nichols. She brought joy and laughter to all who knew her. Emmadean was a Godly woman, who showed us how to be a wife, mother and grandmother. She showed us how to live and die. Emmadean is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 50 years, Wayne Lambert; daughters, Jodi Mathis and husband, Brian, Jill Bates and husband, Michael, Allyson Cortez and husband, Edward and Ashley Hall and husband, Lance; sisters, Lucille Ellender and Margie Nell Turner and husband, Virgil; brothers, John Nichols and wife, Geneva, Wayne Nichols and wife, Missy and Issac Nichols and wife, Betty; sister in laws, Marti Nichols and Jeannie Nichols; grandchildren, Ethan (Marlea), Jake, Cadence, Lewis, Julian, Cecelia, Cameron, Chloe, Chance, Clinton, Lezlie, Erin, Daren and Patrick; great grandchildren, Brennley and Addyson Dean; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family that will miss her dearly.
