Billy Kirk

Billy Norman Kirk, 91, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at home. He was born April 3, 1929 in Smithfield to William Franklin and Iva (Gerth) Kirk. They both were there to welcome him home along with his wife of 62 years, Pearl (McKnight) Kirk, two sisters and three brothers. Billy served in the US Army and was a member of the Knob Hill Tabernacle for over 20 years. He enjoyed gardening, listening and singing gospel music. He will be missed. Billy is survived by his children, Justin Kirk, Dewayne Kirk, Rhonda Lanier and husband, Kenneth and Tracy Smith; siblings, Wanda Jennings, Zanna Hensarling and husband, Jerry, Annalou Darter and Jeanette Jennings and husband, Dan; grandchildren, Christian, Aaron, Amber and Josh; numerous great grandchildren, extended family and many friends.
