Clay King

Clay Ross King, 59, passed away, Tuesday, October 19, 2021 in Decatur. He was born September 25, 1962 to Aretas Vernon Jr. and Virnie Lu (Royall) King in Childress. Clay was preceded in death by his father and son Dallas King. He served in the United States Marine Corps, at the rank of Gunnery Sargent, with twenty-one years of honorable service. Clay was then employed with the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), at DFW airport, for nineteen years. He was a loving husband, son and father. Clay was completely devoted to his children and his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He enjoyed fishing and working on his land.
Clay is survived by his wife,Teresa (Cates) King; mother, Virnie Lu King; daughters, Taylor, Audra and Kristen King; son, Zachary King; brother, Kelvin King; nephew Trae and niece Tristan.
