Viola Kennedy

Viola Cassie (Fowler) Kennedy, 79, went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, January 16, 2022 in Azle. She was born October 9, 1942 in Montgomery, Alabama to James Floyd Fowler and Gladys Byrd. They both preceded her in death along with her step-father, Earl Smith, and siblings, Floyd, Ernest, Mae and Buck. Viola grew up in Alabama and in 1959 she met Leroy Kennedy. They were married December 31, 1959 in Granbury. She owned and operated Vi’s Trash Service in Springtown for many years. Viola loved to visit the river where she enjoyed fishing, camping and spending time with her family. She is survived by her daughter, Cassie Hiliker and her boyfriend, Rick Judge; son, Jeffery Kennedy and wife, Debbie; sisters, Virginia, Naomi, Dorothy Gale and Juanita; grandchildren, Cylinda, Jeffery Michael and Jeffery Charles; great grandchildren, Harley, Paulix, Hailey, Paislee, Gracie, Melinda and Troy. All of whom will miss her dearly.
