Ruth Kemp

Ruth Ann Cooper Kemp was born February 10, 1942 to Oscar and Louella Johnston Cooper in Weatherford, Texas. Ruth went to be with her Lord on December 14, 2018. She was preceded in death by both parents, a sister; Mary Jo Cook and spouses; Alton Blair and Charles Kemp. Ruth was a beloved sister, aunt and grandmother. She was known to most as Aunt Roo or Dee Dee. She was loved and cherished by all that knew her. Ruth was a longtime resident of Azle and worked at RaceTrac and Tobacco Alley for years. She made many friends along the way. She enjoyed family, life and friends. She is survived her sister; Irma Cooper, nephews; Steven Reese and Michael Danagher, niece; Jamie (Randy) Parker, daughter; Charlotte Blair, grandchildren; James Johnson, Jr., Joe Johnson, Nick Mason, and Blair Lavalley, great-nieces and nephews; Heather (Clayton) Webster, Jeffrey (Christina) Parker, Molly, Morgan and Chloe Danagher, Courtney, Colton and Cullen McAllister, Dakota Moore and River Reese, great-great nieces and nephews; Arrissa and Mason Webster, Annabeth and Liam Parker, David Alford, Devynn and Sydney Dillishaw and many extended family and friends.
