Kelly Mitchell Green, a man whose life was a vibrant tapestry of love, faith, and dedication, passed away, Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at home in Springtown. Born on November 11, 1956, Kelly lived a colorful life filled with joy and an unwavering love for his family, leaving behind a legacy that will be cherished by all who knew him.

He is survived by his children, Misty Szyller and husband, Paul, Matthew Green, and Chad Green, who were the center of his world. His siblings, Terry Alan Green, Larry Green and wife, Janis, and Constance Marie Green—stood by him as pillars of support and affection throughout his journey. The joy that Kelly found in life extended into his many cherished grandchildren: Nathan, Charlotte, Margot, Lorelei, Payton, and Piper, each a testament to the enduring love he fostered. Also part of his close-knit circle were his nephews Zachariah Ladesic and David Ladesic, along with an extended family and friends who will remember his generous spirit and warm smile.

Kelly's life was also marked by his vibrant passions. He delighted in heavy metal music and was uplifted by the energy of concerts. His love for the outdoors found expression in fishing trips that offered calm and reflection, while bowling brought fun and friendly competition into his life.

These were the moments where Kelly's genuine joy and zest shone brightest, revealing a man who embraced life's wonders with open arms. Though his beloved parents, Melvin Thomas Green and Juanita (Simonson) Green, and his dear wife, Sharon Green preceded him in death, Kelly's memory lives on vividly in the hearts of those he loved and those who loved him. His kindness, faith, and the love he so freely gave remain, an enduring beacon for all who were blessed to know him.
