Judith Ann Malone, a cherished daughter, loving mother, doting grandmother, and devoted friend, passed away peacefully on December 23, 2025, in Azle, Texas, at the age of 82. She was born on January 26, 1943, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Jack and Valera (Lumpkin) Bennett.
Judith was proud of her long-standing career as a Registered Nurse, dedicating over 25 years of her life to caring for others at John Peter Smith Hospital and in home health care. Her nurturing spirit and commitment to the well-being of her patients made a profound impact on those she encountered throughout her career.
Judith's education was highlighted by her achievement of a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Texas Wesleyan College, which laid the foundation for her lifelong dedication to helping others. Known for her vibrant personality, Judith was a firecracker who brought warmth and kindness to every interaction. She loved everyone she met and was known for her tremendous generosity.
In December of 1968, Judith married the love of her life, James Malone, with whom she shared countless memories until his passing. Her family was the center of her universe, and she took great pride in her children: Diana Brittain and her husband, David, DeeDee Beck, Kimberly Cobler, Sheila Malone, and Danny Malone and his wife, Jennifer. Judith was blessed with 21 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren, all of whom brought immense joy to her life. She cherished her time spent with them, creating precious moments filled with laughter and love.
A member of The Church at Azle, Judith found strength and solace in her faith, a foundation that guided her through life. Her spirit resided in her many hobbies and interests; she reveled in gospel music, found delight in the company of dogs and cats, enjoyed watching westerns on TV, and actively participated in her local CB club and bowling league.
Judith leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and compassion that will forever resonate in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband James; son, Jesse Badgett; her brother Lowell Bennett, and two of her cherished grandchildren, Cody Rosamond and B.J. Cobler.
Judith Ann Malone will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended family and friends. Her memory will live on in the stories shared and the lives she touched throughout her remarkable journey.
