Stanley Jones

SPRINGTOWN -- Stanley Ray Jones, 88, a veteran of World War II who served in the Navy aboard ship YMS124, and a resident of Springtown since 1957, went home to his heavenly Father on Thursday, June 11, 2015, at home. Stanley was born Jan. 29, 1927, in Paradise to Otis and Mima Shannon Jones. They both preceded him in death along with his youngest daughter, Jo Evelyn Jones Rae; and brothers, Homer and Buddy Jones. Survivors: His wife of 69 1/2 years, Alma; daughters, Velma Sneed and husband, David, and Reva Springfield and husband, Larry; grandchildren, Wayne (Katrina), Jeanne (James), Kaylyn (Will), Mandi (Greg), Trent (Tracy) and Stanna; 20 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Marie James of North Richland Hills and Shirley Whitley of Plano; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors and friends
