Emma Jinks

Emma Lou Walker Jinks, 86, passed away, Monday, January 27, 2020 at home surrounded by those that love her. Memorial and burial will be at a later date at Friendship Cemetery, next to her husband. Emma was born September 29, 1933 in Houston to George B. and Gladys Kelley Walker. They both preceded her in death along with her husband, Joe Jinks. She worked in the banking industry for 30 years, owned a beauty shop and taught cosmetology. Left to cherish wonderful memories are her daugthers, Georgia Arrendell and husband, Randal and Sherry Jinks; sister, Gloria D. Gruver and husband, Clarence; grandchildren, Lisa, Erin and Clint; great grandchildren, Emily, Rhett, Rowan, Kullan and Michael; nieces and nephews, Lee, Becky, Dale and Lorie and adopted family, Christine Tiesler and James Kottmyer.
