Jimmy Jeter Sr

Jimmy David Jeter, Sr., 85, a loving father and grandad, passed away peacefully, Sunday, June 30, 2024 at home surrounded by those that love him. He was born December 21, 1938 in Fort Worth to Oran David and Ruby Lois (Bales) Jeter. They both were there to welcome him home, along with his wife of 62 years, Linda June (Skidmore) Jeter and a great granddaughter, Logyn Jeter. Jimmy grew up in River Oaks and graduated from Northside High in 1957. He was a man of many talents. Jimmy enjoyed playing sports and excelled in baseball and tennis. Later in life he enjoyed snow skiing and golfing with his son. He was a builder and helped with the building of the Aztec Saddle Club. Left to cherish fond memories, are his children, Jimmy “Bo” Jeter Jr and wife, Paula and Jodie Beall and husband, Jerry; grandchildren, J’son (Brooke), Jacob (Amy), Janna (Joey), Jerad (Chloe) and Jordan (Ridglea); great grandchildren, Reese, Thomas, Holyn, Beckett, Paisley, Parker, Audrie, Caison and Braxton.
