In Loving Memory of Jerry Dean Maricle

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jerry Dean Maricle, a kind, selfless, and deeply devoted father, grandfather, son, and friend. Jerry passed away peacefully on May 11, 2025, at the age of 61.Born in Waco, Texas, on January 12, 1964, Jerry lived a life defined by compassion and service to others. He never hesitated to put others before himself and was always the first to offer a helping hand, a warm smile, or a word of encouragement. Whether family, friend, or stranger Jerry treated everyone with respect and kindness. He worked for many years as a forklift driver before retiring and dedicating himself to being the full-time caregiver for his beloved mom. His commitment to his family was unparalleled, and he considered caring for his mother one of the greatest honors of his life. Jerry was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Lee (Pop) Maricle, and his brother, Steven Maricle. He is survived by his devoted mother, Paula “Clarette” (Mom)  Maricle; his brothers, Ronald, Michael, and Curtis; his loving children; daughter, Heather Hassell; his son, Wes Earwood; and his treasured grandchildren: Nathaniel, Catherine, Preston, Presleigh and Parklyn. To his grandchildren, he was more than a grandfather he was “Paw Paw,” the best one they could ever ask for. He was playful, wise, and full of love, and he filled their lives with joy and laughter. Jerry’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. His legacy of kindness, strength, and love will never be forgotten.
