James Austin Stewart, 64, passed away, Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at his home in Austin. He was born December 15, 1961 in Lubbock Texas. His father, Richard Allen Stewart preceded him in death along with his brothers, Sam A. Stewart and David L. Stewart. James grew up in Boyd and worked mostly in the construction industry. He was an Austin resident for the last 26 years. He is survived by his mother, Janice Stewart; sister, Susan (Michael) Stewart; nephew, Thomas M. Stewart; and niece, Susan E. Stewart.
