James Norman Leck

James Norman Leck, a dedicated family man and community servant, passed away on October 22, 2025, in Alvord, Texas, at the age of 63. Born on September 13, 1962, in Dallas, Texas, James was known for his hard-working nature and his commitment to both his family and his community.

For 37 years, James built a successful career at AT&T, demonstrating his exceptional work ethic and dedication. His professional contributions were matched only by his deep commitment to serving others, as he spent many years volunteering as a fireman with the River Oaks Fire Department. Through his volunteer work, he made an indelible mark on the community, showcasing his commitment to safety and service.

An ardent supporter of youth sports, James was also passionate about coaching children in the LYSA for many years. His love for coaching reflected his dedication to nurturing the next generation.

James is survived by his beloved spouse, Margaret (Trevino) Leck, and their two children, Merissa Leck and Maison Leck, who will carry forward his legacy of hard work and dedication to his family. He is also survived by his mother, Selena Leck, and his cousin, Lori Wright, who cherished the memories they created together.

James was preceded in death by his father, Norman Leck, whose memory will forever be a part of his family's story.

A multifaceted individual, James will be remembered not only for his professional accomplishments but for the profound impact he made on the lives of those around him through his volunteer work and coaching.
