James Walter Hamer

James Walter Hamer, a retired machinist for Halliburton and a devoted husband, passed away on June 29, 2025, in Arlington, Texas. Born on December 5, 1943, in Cedar  Rapids, Iowa, James led a life rich with experiences and meaningful relationships.

Throughout his career, James was known for his skill and dedication as a machinist at Halliburton, where he contributed significantly to the company's operations. His hands-on work ethic was a testament to his character and professionalism.

James proudly served in the United States Navy, an experience that not only marked a pivotal time in his life but also shaped his values of loyalty and service to others. Known for his good sense of humor, he was a friend to many and cherished for his unwavering friendship and support. James maintained lasting friendships with Frank and Vicki Garcia, and together, they created memories that would be cherished by all.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Walter John Hamer and Mary Elizabeth (Sherman) Hamer, as well as his beloved wife, Connie (Parks) Hamer. Their absence leaves a profound void in the hearts of those who knew him.
