Shawn Hurst

Shawn Patrick Hurst, 48, passed away, unexpectedly, Saturday, December 17, 2022. He was born August 6, 1974 in Olathe, Kansas and at the age of one the family moved to Texas. He grew up in the Houston area and at the age of 6 they moved to the DFW area. He graduated from Azle High School, where he played football. Shawn had a big heart and was always there to help anyone in need. He was very active in his children sports. He was a coach for his daughters softball league, sons T-Ball league and trained his son in motorcross. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Patricia (Watkins) Hurst; mother and father, Jack and Mary (Crawford) Hurst; son, Shawn Hurst; daughter, Ekko Hurst; son Ryder Hurst; daughter, Trinity Hertter; sister, Shaleigh Hurst; brothers, Tommy Crawford, Levi Crawford and John Crawford; grandchildren, Landree and Ryleigh: numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
