Sue Hulkenberg

Sue Ann (Breisath) Hulkenberg, 66, went home to be with the Lord, Friday, June 28, 2024 in Decatur. She was born August 10, 1957 in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin to Julian and Betty Jean (Dovre) Breisath. They both preceded her in death. Sue grew up in Wisconsin and in 1975, her senior year the family moved to Hurst, Texas. She graduated from Tarrant County College with a degree in Culinary Arts. Sue loved to cook, especially with her grandchildren. She had a personality that everyone was drawn to and loved deeply. She will be missed. Sue is survived by her devoted and loving husband of 45 years, John Hulkenberg; daughters, Colleen Thurman and Diane Cleveland and husband, Eric; grandchildren, Anthony, Aleck, Lana, Breana and Lucas; and her great granddaughter, Emerie.
