Jacqueline Hughes

Jacqueline Fae Bostick Hughes, 96, passed away, Tuesday, February 9, 2021 in Decatur. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. She was born July 14, 1924 in Dexter, Alabama to John Addis and Georgia Odell (Witt) Bostick. They both preceded her in death along with her husband, William “Hubert” Hughes, and sisters, Joyce Morrow and Sybil Gardner. Jacqueline grew up and lived in Red Bay, Alabama and was a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church for over 50 years before moving to Springtown to be closer to her family. Jacqueline was an award winning artist. She leaves to cherish fond memories, her daughters, Tina Howard and Taryn Hughes; grandsons, Eric and Tristan; and great grandchildren, Hayden, Avah Rain and Heaven Aeric.
