Zanna Hensarling

Zanna Kaye (Kirk) Hensarling, 82, passed away Saturday, February 1, 2025 at her home in Springtown surrounded by her family. She was born August 14, 1942 in Smithfield to William Franklin Kirk and Iva Mahalia ( Gerth) Kirk. Zanna was preceded in death by her parents and 7 of her siblings. She was raised in Springtown and graduated Springtown High School in 1960. She then married the love of her life Jerry in 1966. Together they raised 3 children. Zanna was a member of Fundamental Baptist Church in Springtown where she was active in missionary administrative services and church flowers for more than 40 years. She was an outgoing lady who enjoyed playing softball, basketball, volleyball. Zanna also enjoyed fishing and gardening. She was a wonderful Wife, Mother, Grandmother and great-grandmother who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Zanna is survived by her husband of 59 years Jerry Hensarling ; children, James Dale Hensarling and wife Kim, Clint Hensarling and partner Anne Seybert, Kaye Barnes and husband Chester; sisters, Wanda Jennings, Jeanette Jennings and husband Dan; 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
