Betty Joan Heiser Gaddy, 80, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Friday, January 20, 2017 in Decatur.
Betty was born March 13, 1936 in Millersview to Erdman and Mabel Flippin Heiser. They both preceded her in death along with her husband and first love, Billy Ed McCollum; husband Al Gaddy, and brother, Harvey Heiser.
Betty worked for the US Postal Service, was a member of the VFW in Garland where she was the President of the Ladies Auxillary.
In leui of flowers, donations may be made in her name to a local VFW or Alzheimer Foundation.
She is survived by her children, Debbie Estes, Donna Herndon, Darla Rinehart, Ed McCollum, Jeff Davis and wife, Tori and Alyssa Gaddy; brothers, Richard Heiser and wife, Sandy and Bill Heiser and wife, Donna; nine grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
