Teddy Haynes

Teddy “Ted” Troy Haynes, 79, passed away Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at home peacefully with his family by his side. He was born June 3, 1942 to Troy C. and Mary Vera May Haynes in Bridgeport. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, H. C. and Buddy Haynes and sister, Jannie Williams. He wore many hats around Wise and Parker Counties. Ted owned a BBQ restaurant for many years to owning KBOC radio in Bridgeport for 9 years. He was also a home builder, loved cooking and spending time with his family and friends. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Ted will be dearly missed by many. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Earlene Bobo Haynes; daughters, Terry Lynn Worthey and husband, Randy, Sherry Anne Haynes and Troylene Moore and husband, Billy; foster son, Jimmy Boyd; grandchildren, Racheal, Whitney, Hayden, Amanda, Ashley, Taylore, Hailey and Dylan; great grandchildren, Autumn, Gauge, Mason, Hensley, Ella, Piper, and Easton; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Ted was also survived by sisters, Mary Pewitt and Brenda Cox.
