Karen Hatten

Karen D Hatten, 69, passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2024 in Decatur. She was born August 6, 1954 to Francis and Grace (Dugan) Fox in Rockville Center, New York. Her parents and husband Frank Hatten preceded her in death She grew up in the Long Island area and graduated Baldwin High School in 1972. Karen moved to Texas in the early 80s and settled in Boyd in 2001. Karen was an excellent cook. She was such a light in the lives of so many. Karen always tried to make the world a better place whenever she could. She enjoyed reading, and spending time with her family. Karen is survived by her daughter, Marie Dawson; son, Logan Cortes-Gray, and a host of friends. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
