William Duryne Harvison, 73, a loving husband, father and pawpaw, passed away, Tuesday, November 3, 2020. Funeral: 12:30 p.m. , Thursday, November 12, 2020 at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Friday at Alexander’s Midway with a message from Cory Wynns at 7 p.m. He was born May 1, 1947 in Fort Worth to William Monroe and Claire (Seal) Harvison. They both preceded him in death along with his sister, Amelia. William grew up in Fort Worth and worked many years in the construction business. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War and was a Tunnel Rat for several months and sat up night ambushes. He received a bronze star with Valor Device for pulling a wounded GI to safety under fire. He loved to fish. But most of all he loved spending time with his grandchildren. William is survived by his wife, Jackie Harvison; daughter, JJ Harvison; son, Bubba Harvison and wife, Angela; step-daughter, Melissa Horner; grandchildren, Raleigh, Rachel, Presley, Nicole, Destiny, Hailey, Isiah, Tanner and Nick; and numerous great grandchildren.
