Harry Bert Hamilton

Harry Bert Hamilton, lovingly known as "HB" and affectionately called “the Bear” by those who knew him best, passed away on Wednesday,  September 24, 2025, surrounded by family, at the age of 73. Born in Gladewater, Texas to Bertie and Harry C Hamilton Jr. Harry made his home in Springtown, Texas, where he built a life filled with love, hard work, and strong family bonds. A proud Navy Seabee veteran and a skilled sheet metal worker by trade, Harry retired after a long and dedicated career. He was a man of many interests — from collecting coins, cooking, sewing and working on computers. As well as an enthusiastic Amazon shopper. Harry was known for his strong will and stubborn streak, but even more so for his deep love and devotion to his family. He was a Baptist by faith and carried that strength of spirit with him throughout his life. Harry is survived by his beloved wife, Cheryl Hamilton; his 3 children, Carissa Clark (Michal Clark), Michael Hamilton and Michelle Ford (Scotty Ford); and his grandchildren: Luke Walker and Anna Clark; Zoe, Emmajean and Rowan Hamilton; Grant and Graysyn Ford. He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant daughter, Melissa, from a previous marriage.Though he may be gone from this world, Harry leaves behind a legacy of laughter, resilience, and love — and memories that his family will carry in their hearts forever.
