Harry Leo Grape

Mr. Harry Leo Grape, 84, passed away Monday, June, 29,2026 at his home in Azle, surrounded by his family. He was born February 24, 1942, to Charlie S. Grape and Pearl Grape in Dover, Oklahoma. Harry was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Eva (Lynn) Grape.

Harry grew up in Dover, Oklahoma, and graduated from Dover High School. He soon met the love of his life, Eva (Lynn), and they were married July 6, 1962. Together, they made a home and raised their children. Harry worked for the Rock Island Railroad for 19 and 1/2 years as a Track Foreman. In 1984, Harry moved the family to the Azle area. He took a job with Payless Cashways, retiring after 15 years.

Harry had a heart of gold. He was a great provider and loved his family above all else. He had many interests, with a particular interest in baseball, playing as well as coaching little league. He was a big fan of the OU Sooners. Harry also took great pride in his lawn. He maintained it like a championship golf course.

Harry leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion to family and commitment to hard work.

He is survived by his children, Tami McGuffin and her husband Mark, Beverly Peterson and her husband Joe; grandchildren, Beau Whitfield, Misty Whitfield, Chase Lawless; great-grandchildren, Madison Gillett and her husband Jason; Alexander Lawless, Savannah Lawless, Aiden Teel, Brennan Whitfield, Christian Whitfield, and Elijah Lawless; great-great-grandchildren, Indie and Kennedy Gillett; extended family and friends.
