Harold “Tommy” Ferguson, 89, passed away peacefully, at his home in Springtown, Wednesday, January 14, 2026. He was born August 12, 1936 in Hugo, Oklahoma to Harvey and Lilile (Simpson) Ferguson.
Harold worked for many years as a welder, building feed mills across Texas and Oklahoma. He took special pride in working alongside his sons, valuing both the work and the times they spent together. He also served honorably in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany.
Harold was known for his sense of humor and love of conversations. He enjoyed telling storied and making people laugh, often saying, “Tell me all you know, I’ve got a minute.”
He is survived by his daughter, Rita Moore; sons, Harold Ferguson, Jr., Tommy Ferguson and Roger Ferguson and wife, Barbara; grandchildren, Bob Moore, Randi Trawick, Danny Ferguson, Kevin Ferguson, Candice Parker, Dusty Ferguson, Richard Kirk, Jr., Leland, and McKayla. Along with many great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife of over 50 years, Helen; his parents; son, Tim Ferguson and daughter, Christy Kirk.
Harold will be remembered for his humor, his stories and the time he spent with family.
