Don Hackney

Don Wilson Hackney, 82, passed away, Wednesday, June 26, 2019. Don was born August 27, 1936 in Dallas to Woody Lee and Evelyn (Davis) Hackney. They both preceded him in death along with two sons, Rowdy and Brandon Hackney; daughter, Kim Brandon and husband, Anthony; and brother, Woody Hackney. He served proudly in the US Navy. Don was a bull rider, enjoyed rodeoing, was a heavy equipment operator and was a mason. He is survived by his son, Randy Hackney and wife, Jeanette; sister, Joyce Miller and husband, Norman; grandchildren, Amanda, Shaunda, Shaylee, Vanessa, Shelby and Alisha; 11 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
