Absalom Grube

Absalom Lee Grube (Ab), 48, passed away December 11, 2022 in Decatur. He was born June 23, 1974 in Austin to David H. and Christianna (Cothrum) Grube. Ab was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather. He enjoyed knife collecting, wood working and grilling outside. Ab loved spending time with his family. He was an animal lover. Ab had a big heart and wanted to help anyone he could. Even in death he was a Life Gift donor. Ab is survived by his wife of 21 years, Dawn Weyand; sons, Brandon Glass, Vincent Grube; daughters, Shyanne Glass, Kristiana Manning, Kylee Goodwin and husband Tony Jr., Natasha Grube, Angelica-Rose Grube, Brianna Grube; father, David Grube; mother, Christianna Cothurm; brothers, Michael Grube, Gabriel Grube; sister, Anna Honsberger and husband Tom; 7 grandchildren and numerous extended family and friends. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
